if you have soap scum that wont go away...i know this sounds nuts but i use the little steel wool pads..not the heavy scourers .the little ones with the fine steel wool.use on test area first.but try using it..also works in removing the stubborn soap scum on tiles too.

I want to know the answer because tilex, CLR, and other commercial stuff don't work well on my doors. I've had to use alot of "elbow grease" to get some results.

Sears has a concentrated shower and tile cleaner that works. It comes with a spray bottle that you spray on the bad areas and let it sit there for five minutes. Then you take a plastic abrasive sponge (like those 3M ones) and lightly rub it off. It is strong enough that you need to wear rubber gloves while using it and need a lot of ventilation but you don't need a lot of elbow grease.

I don't. I use Tilex Fresh Shower on the door and the tiles after every shower. I never have to clean anything but the bath tub. It is the best thing ever invented.

I use the "works" tub and tile cleaner. It works awesome. They also make a great toilet cleaner. The works can usually be found in most wal'marts or dollar stores. Very inexpensive and it works. I have been using it for about 7 yrs. now.

This is harsh but if things have got REALLY bad, use a strong toilet bowl cleaner. Keep it off the chrome because it will leave marks on it. Use gloves and try not to breathe the fumes.
