Put them in a pillow case, safety pin it shut and throw them in the washer on gentle cycle. Dry them on low or medium cycle.
They should come out nice and fluffy.

Probably hand washing with woolite is the safest way. Or taking a toothbrush and oxi-clean and water mixed and scrubbing with that. Then letting them air dry or put them in the dryer on a no heat setting or low heat for only about 20 minutes, after you've let them air dry mostly.

Most of mine run rather nicely right through the washing machine and dryer. Some, don't, of course. But, I kinda find out which ones I want to keep around through the years that way. As much as I might love one, I'm just not keeping a dirty, skanky stuffed animal around that is too hooty-tooty to go through the washing machine. I've been washing my collection in the washer for over thirty years, some of them, and they look as good as new.

The safest way I have found is to get carpet cleaner and a toothbrush. It works like a charm and does not risk the toy. There is a carpet cleaner I can't remember the name of that has a brush on the lid; it works but the lid is kinda bulky so I think the old toothbrush works much better.

staple it to a wooden fence using 2" staples. Rent a 3500 psi power washer, rinse and repeat
