I have the same 2 stains all over my carpet. i just checked yahoo answers and went to the store and bought 2 differnt things to try. one is a pre wash for the laundry i got the spray n wash , the other is a combo of baking soda, peroxide, vinegar and water. ill come back in a few hours and let u know if either of them work and the specifics on how i did it!! :-)
Ok the spray and wash worked great on the dirt but not at all on the coke. i got the one that has duel power wehre each side of the bottle is diff and when u squeeze it two diff streams come out. i just sprayed it on, let it sit for 5 min then used a tooth brush to scrub out the stain. then kept blotting with hot water and a paper towel until the soap was gone. im doing to other one later on the coke ill let u know

actually, hot water extraction.
With the current cost of replacement, I highly suggest this.

Pour some vinegar onto a cloth and blot the stain until it's lifted. If you can't live with the smell of vinegar, blot again with a damp sponge....:)
