No. You just dump the clothes in the washer, sorting as you go, turn on the machine, then go about your business. Doing dishes by hand is the household chore I hate the most. You have to stand at the sink, up to your elbows in dirty water,no company, because everyone leaves the kitchen when you start the dishes because they are afraid you'll ask them to help. Then afterward your hands are all pruney and smell of dirty dishwater. And as soon as you're done, someone wants a snack and dirties up more dishes.

No Lundry is not my most hated thing to do, I can get aggitated because of not having a car and taking my laundry on the bus then to the laundry mat. You know what I hate the most is me taking a lot of time to get my home very clean and as soon as I doeveryone leaves their crap all over. How hard is it to pick up after yourself. Leaving Dirty Dishes in the Sink drives me crazy! Just Wash it and put it away! Is it really that hard

Not in the least! I still have an old washhouse in my backyard, complete with chimney where they heated the water for the washtubs. Anytime I think I may want to complain about laundry I stop and remind myself:
1) Be thankful you have clothes and linens to wash, some folks don't
2) Be thankful you don't have to make your own soap, boil the water over a fire and do all that laundry by hand in washtubs. Or even worse, that you don't have to carry the clothes down to the creek and scrub them on the rocks.

Well Norman, Laundry is not the most hated chore to do, I actually enjoy it most days especially if I am bored or have nothing else better to do

Cleaning my bathroom is the most hated thing for me.
I enjoy doing my laundry.

To me, absolutely yes. I'd rather clean the toilets. I HATE laundry worse than any other chore, and more than anything else I have to do ever.

I don't mind laundry so much. But I hate cleaning the oven.

I would rather do laundry than vacuum, dust, or wash dishes. I LOVE detergent and fabric softners... I have about 5 different smelling detergents/fabric softners and it makes doing the laundry more interesting.

YES! It is never done. At least when you cut the lawn, it's done for the week. When you are done the laundry, everyone gets into thier PJ's and then there's another load!

No, the laundry isn't bad, it's the ironing I have to do once things are washed.
