Any Lithop lovers out there? I just bought my first two Lithops today at Lowe's...they'll probably die, but such is life, trial and error, etc etc.
If you've got any advice, let me know. I have done quite a bit of reading and joined a lithops yahoo group, but maybe you've got some secret tricks or something?

I came home from work last night, and my hubby told me that our two cats have been facing the wall all night. I turned the TV down and heard something scratching inside my wall. Well tonight, I hear it again along with an occasional squeak or something. It's driving me crazy! This wall is between my living room and my office and the thing has not moved from the same spot it was in last night. WHAT DO I DO NOW?!?!? I don't want to have to tear in to my wall. I would assume it came in from the attic but who knows! And what the heck is it?!?!? Somebody please help!!

Can anyone tell me what to expect a termite company will charge when I know there is evidence of termites. I have called around and all companies want atleast $100.00 to come out to give an estimate. We live in the Baltimore, MD area if that makes a difference. The house is only 4 years old.
Thanks for any help!

Hi, I just replaced a brand new toilet fill valve inside toilet tank. Operation was simple and easy. But now I have a water keeps on running. What is causing this, and how can I fix it? I thought I fixed the previous problem by replacing to the brand new valve. Now I have a water constantly running problem.

I have an awful time keeping up with the bills and junk mail.
Bills go unpaid because the get lost or just simply get pushed back to the very back of the stacks. Things that need rsvp and attention seem to go unnoticed because I forget they are there in that huge pile of papers. I need a way to keep them organized in a small space.

I have pellets, but it rains here often in the tropics, and every few days afterwards, there are more and more snails, I think I'll never rid myself of these critters, and simply don't have the time to remove 40+ every three to four days. I can find no way that they are getting here, but they do. It's those big ones with the brown stripes, we live on the coast.

They eat anything I try and grow that wasn't here already, forget about seeds.
Any suggestions?

I'm interested in building a deck off of my kitchen and the city of Malden (state of MA) said that the "setback area" is 20 (I assume feet) from the rear and 10 from the side. Does this mean that my deck can't begin for 10' from my side property line?

Thanks!
