Any Lithop lovers out there? I just bought my first two Lithops today at Lowe's...they'll probably die, but such is life, trial and error, etc etc.
If you've got any advice, let me know. I have done quite a bit of reading and joined a lithops yahoo group, but maybe you've got some secret tricks or something?

ShiSheido, you either know nothing about these plants or you're trying to be a smarta$$. These plants actually MUST be watered as little as possible.

I water my lithops only once a month, and I'm in a very dry area as it is. I also put it where it can get as much light as possible. One interesting thing--this winter my one plant which had been doing fine suddenly deflated, and I thought it was dead. But when I lifted off the dead top, underneath was a new bud beginning--I guess this is normal. Weird, but normal. The next thing is to see if it will bloom when things warm up.
