It has been raining the last few days, I also thought about trying to pull them out by the roots with the truck, but they are all about three feet from the house. How deep will the roots be, would that be dangerous?

If daffodils are poisonous does this mean I can't grow tomatoes in the bed where I have just dug the daffodils up? Or will they be ok?

My friend just recently gave me some vines of his wondering jew plant! Right now it's just sitting in a cup of water, it doesnt have any root. Can I plant it in some soil and let it grow? Or do I just keep it in the water til it grows a root? I have no clue.

Any help would be great!!

Hi

I have a toilet that keeps on running after its supposed to turn off. After the tank fils up, it overruns into the bowl and keeps on running for 10minutes or so before shutting off. I can take the cover off and pull up the lever connected to the float to shut it off. Its definitely worse in hotter weather than on colder days. I have called a plumber twice to fix it, but it works fine for a month or so before going bad. Do I need to replace the whole thing or is there any adjustment I can make to the float?

Thanks.

I've been debating installing crown molding for quite sometime. I love the look, but the thing is does it add value to the home, or does it at least at appeal? Either way, it's hard to justify doing it if it's going to be a total financial loss. Any ideas?

I moved into my condo two years ago. I love to garden. Unfortunately, the previous owners took the easy way and planted an ivy ground cover. I spent all of last summer digging it up. In just a few days, it would poke its ugly head up through the soil again, even in places that I was sure I had gotten it all. I have many lovely flowers and I am afraid that I will kill them if I try to spray weed killer. Does weed killer even work on ivy? Are there any other hints for ridding my garden of this "creeping" pest?

I just laid fresh sod and I'm wondering what the best watering routine is to make sure it takes root. I'm worried about over watering, so please also tell me the signs to watch out for that too.

We've just put in our early spring vegetables -- broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, onions and brussel sprouts. We've put chicken wire around the garden, but I am not satisfied that the rabbits won't be able to dig under the fence. What methods have people found that will keep rabbits and squirrels out of the vegetables?
