My stepmother wants Buttercups, but the way she described them is they have a trumpet - like yellow flower. I have been to a greenhouse and on the internet, but the flower they call Buttercup is a ground cover with tiny yellow flowers.

I live in the desert southwest, and have a mimosa tree. Some of the main branches have been kind of splitting apart on the outside for a couple of years. There are several round holes in the surface, and VERY small black insects crawling up and down. I don't know if they're ants, or termites, or what. They're too small to even see what they look like.

What do I do to help my tree?

Underheating cable was buried in 50mm screed but the surface is not level, some kind of floor leveller is needed, 15mm variation in some places.
on top of the floor leveller I intend to use ceramic tiles with flexable adhesive.
But will the floor levelling compound (b&q of febfloor) be likely to crack ??

I found a worm eating some Rotten wood in a stump that was rotting away... and i have no idea what it is or how it gets it's water! here is he's it's charactoristics:
- Looks like the Taquila worm
- Eats Rotten wood
- Looks like a Larve (like: catapilar stage)
- Has eyes
- Yellow-ish tint with a slight tan
- Has small pinchers for devowering (guess)
- Has small legs you can barely see (like a centapede)
- no sign of a toungue.
I hope you guys can help me figure out what kind of worm I have in that jar!

My 3 year old has basically ruined half of her wardrobe, and the washing machines at my apartment complex suck. I have tried oxi-clean, color safe bleach, dual action type stain removers, and even the trusted spray & wash stain stick. I have tried soaking, rubbing, pretreating, and even hand washing, and these clothes are still not coming out clean. I just spent a good amount of $ on my daughters spring/summer wardrobe, so pitching the clothes is not an option. Some of these outfits have been in the dryer already, and some have not.

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

I'm trying to get rid of the squeak in my floor upstairs. I've screwed it down on every joist that I can find (16 on center) every 6 in. or so and it still squeaks. I'm thinking maybe they changed directions and I missed a few of them. Do you have any other ideas to help me get rid of the squeaking?

I just closed on a new home on Friday that sits on a 1/2 acre.

I want to get a push mower - and out of all the lawn mowers at Home Depot and Lowes, i'm stuck between trying to decide on a Toro or John Deer.

Anyone have any suggestions as to which one to by, and even a possible model number?

Also - would you suggest a push mower over a riding zero degree lawn mower? I really think those are cool - but not sure if it's too much for a 1/2 acre yard.

Thanks!

The area behind my house has recently been developed into a new neighborhood of custom homes. Because I am downhill from this development, the water rushes through my yard causing damage, debris, and threatening to flood my house. Who is responsible: me, the builders, or the land developer. If the developer, how do I find out who it is?

On a large planter that will be sitting on the concrete are you supposed to leave the plug in the bottom in or out? I was thinking in I was afraid it might stain the concrete, but my wife says it will drown the plants. Help...I am lost as usual.
