I want to add color and softness to my front yard, but everything Ive tried has been mowed down by the dozens of rabbits that live adjacent to my home. I have plenty of sprinklers, some shade/some full sun.......Please don't tell me to kill the rabbits either, I want normal answers!!!

Try marigolds. They come in a variety of colors and from year to year they seed themselves and grow each year without having to plant more. Plus they will combine colors. For example, if you plant orange marigolds next to yellow ones, the following year you could have orange & yellow marigolds growing. I don't know of many rabbits that like to eat marigolds and this usually will keep them away. Or you could put up a fence.....Happy growing.

Marigolds. They hate the smell of them. If you plant a row of marigolds around the perimeter of your plants, they won't even come near it, so you can plant whatever you want behind the marigolds. Just make sure you plant them close together.

Even a lot of bugs do not like marigolds.
