Sometimes we just get a bad apple in that barrel but craftsman is one fine product.........Insure youself with the extended warranty..........I always do and it always pays for it's self. For example I have rider no charge for pick up and delivery!

That's funny, I have 3 Craftsman push mowers and I've never had any trouble with them. Toro is a good brand, but they are expensive. We have this Murray push mower that I've had for 13+ years and it is sitll doing fine. Home Depot and Lowe's are a good place to get new mowers. I know that Home Depot carries Toro. Good luck.

O.M.G im not the only one to beleive this? the craftsman mowers should be feed to the lawnmowers of hell. These are about the biggest POS of mowers. i love the hand tools, great tools, but is must have been put that way, because your going to have to use these tools to fix your grasscrappers.
Thanks for letting me vent.

Home Depot has an excellent repair policy and good mowers. Self propelled and mulching so you don't end up with tons of grass to clean up and no heavy bag to lug around and dump.
