Makes sure it's clean and fire it up. There is nothing like watching a fire from a couch.

I have a wood burner & I used it alot this winter. Really helped keep it warm & it's relaxing to listen to the crackling. Easy to clean, I just sucked up the ashes with the hose on my vacuum. No muss, no fuss. Doesn't make sense to have one & not use it.

Currently I don't have one. I did several years ago and I did use it but it was quite the hassle sometimes to clean up.
