had rabbits and guinea pigs..it all went on the compost heap..as once it has rotted down it is mixed up before it's mixed into the soil. Try to get some horse muck to mix into it occasionally as well.

Sawdust of any kind leeches nitrogen from your soil and compost so be certain that you are adding sawdust to a nitrogen rich compost. It certainly can be added to the compost.

i think it should be quite good for compost - it adds structure and lets the other gunk breathe. Compost isn't supposed to be all potato peelings and apple cores. Will take time to rot down.

Yes just mix it in with the rest and it will compost .

We mix our sawdust, used straw and hay with compost.

yes it makes great compost, I used to breed rabbit´s and we just piled it up covered it with plastic sheet and used it when ever needed

very good if you are composting at home.

Some local councils do not allow it in their garden waste colections (if you have a garden waste bin) so may be worth checking with them.

sure add it in with your lawn clippings,will make a fine compost.
