i need a fast growing plant for my pergola that stays green all year flowers a bonus?

Passiflora,passion flower would foot the bill.It grows fast, has large purple and white flowers and green plum shaped fruits that turn orange.The pant is evergreen. There is a story about why it is called a passion flower. I can't remember it but it likens the various parts of the flower to certain religious significances.The plant is long growing.There may be a need in time to trim it back to keep it in check.

Try the "Physalis franchetii" or Chinese Lantern Plant. They have Dark Green Leaves and a lovely White Flower, replaced by Bright Red "Lantern's" surrounding its fruit.
