Passiflora, passion flower would foot the bill.It grows fast, has large purple and white flowers and green plum shaped fruits that turn orange. The pant is evergreen. There is a story about why it is called a passion flower. I can't remember it but it likens the various parts of the flower to certain religious significances. The plant is long growing. There may be a need in time to trim it back to keep it in check.

Try the "Physalis franchetii" or Chinese Lantern Plant. They have Dark Green Leaves and a lovely White Flower, replaced by Bright Red "Lantern's" surrounding its fruit. It likes nutrient rich soil, but is easy to grow and maintain. It can be grown up Pergola's or around doorways and gate's to produce a lovely ornamental entrance.

Russian Vine or its common name of mile a minute. A much maligned plant because it tends to take over, but great for getting cover over ugly buildings, fences etc. Birds love it for nesting.
