Regarding cleaning the carbon residue off the glass after burning wood. I am having trouble finding the right cleanning product to clean the black carbon off the transparent (now dark black) glass window in which you can see through. It's just the fact, i cant see what's going on inside the hearth while the fire is going!! Any one know a solution of any kind, or a commercial product that can clean the glass windows on the hearth door??

I am renovating my condo, and both bathrooms have a water-based paint on top of latex paint. Is there any easy way to remove the top layer of paint? It peels off in very small patches, and is taking forever!

Ok - I've got a problem with my shower - water leaking from under the tray & making the wooden panelling around base of shower damp. Called a plumber out to take a look - he has quoted me £280 plus VAT just to take out the shower (cubicle, tray, etc) & examine what the problem is.
Is this reasonable?

I wash my husbands dress clothes, and dry them shortly. As soon as they are done, I take them out and hang them up. He just has too many dress clothes for me to keep up with the ironing. His clothes mostly are even the "Wrinkle free ones" but they still look like they need ironed.
Does anyone have any tips?

ok so i have a 4 year old son and i babysit everyday 3 extra kids. Im finding it very hard to keep my house cleaned. I hate doing the dishes and doing the laundry. I'm finding i'm getting very overwhelmed. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get more organized and an easier way to keep my house cleaner. only serious advice please.

I hate Gloss and Semi Gloss paint! I heard you can also wipe off dirt from eggshell Paint? Is this true, or is it only gloss that you can clean? Also, what type of paint is durable enough to handle the bathrooms high moisture?

I have 3 huge, framed photos of Tigers and want to put them up in my living room. Would it be good or bad luck for me to mount them on my walls? If yes, where would be the best location i.e. facing east, west etc.

I'm tired of buying vegetation killers and having to re-apply them several times a year. I want this grass and weeds DEAD! I am never going to want growth between my pathway cracks, or between my patio bricks, etc. seems so redundant to keep spraying over and over. I want a more pernament fix. Is there anything more powerful to use? Something that destroys grass/weeds forever?

i have a pool in my back yard.when ever i turn on the heater or jets, little whirl pools apper.
bugs fly into them and start spinning.

The area where I want to start my vegtable garden gets about 40% light and the soil is sandy with alot of rocks any suggestions and also what kind of vegtables can I grow with this kind of light. My neighbor told me go to big bear and get some soil that it would be rich in nutrients

I put a post on here a few wks ago & some1 suggested WalMart by the flowers & stuff.
Well, this past Sunday I went & looked in the areas by the Fake Flowers & the Garden Center, And couldnt find any.

I've tried the Home Depot & Lowe's websites & had no luck.

I guess it's not very popular in Arizona. I live on the outskirts of Phoenix & am lucky if I get mail twice a month out here in the Desert Country, so I dont wanna buy this stuff online. I know some1's taking my mail that I like ie Gardening Magazines so the odds of me get'g these r slim to none.

So where else can I find these in Phoenix?? ~ they're for a Bamboo Tee~pee.

Our retail space has a Electric circuit breaker, which can control all in our space and also some basement, which is not our space. There was huge increase in our utility bill recently and doubting that someone in basement maybe used our electricity. Some plugs in basedment doesn't work if we turn our breaker's switch off. Is this means we are paying electricity for someone when they use these plugs in basement? If not, any other way to investigate this matter?

Every morning I'm awoken by birds scratching and pecking and whatever they do on the guttering outside my bedroom window..
I rang the council but was informed that i can't remove the nest as black birds / starlings are protected and could be fined like 5000.(these are black birds)
