I have 3 huge, framed photos of Tigers and want to put them up in my living room. Would it be good or bad luck for me to mount them on my walls? If yes, where would be the best location i.e. facing east, west etc.

If it's any help or relevance - I'm a 'Horse' and my son is a 'Dog' - which are both compatible with a Tiger.

You have to find out your horoscope compatibility first.

If you are tiger, horse, dog or pig Chinese horoscope, you are OK to hang the tiger photos.

Of course, if your family members belong to the above group, then it is OK too, otherwise, you have to take them into consideration.

If you are monkey zodiac, you better not to hang the photos.

Very often, tiger photo may have negative impact because tiger is not a household pet.

Following the tradtional San Sui Wah rulings in Feng Shui, placing images/artwork of aggressive animals in your home is never a good idea. Even if the Tiger were to be your ally in terms of the Chinese Zodiac, more harm than good would be done.

The only times where it would be acceptable to use these types of artworks/photos is you were in a business or location that focuses on aggression. Examples of these places are dojos, military related buildings, etc.

Putting the framed photos of Tigers in your living room won't really bring bad luck, but what it will do is increase hostility and discomfort for its tenants.

Aggressive Animals (Bad): Wolves, Tigers, Lions

Pacifistic Animals (Good): Pig, Peacock, Monkey

tiger is a violent animal, which causes the occupants to either get sick or leave the house. in fengshui, it is not adviseable to put huge pictures of tiger around the house.

a picture of a horse is lucky if it is placed facing inward the house and facing away from the door, as if to go into the house - this signifies money coming in.

in fengshui, not all of the animals in the chinese horoscope mean good.
