I just saw on yahoo where IKEA is charging a nickel for every plastic bag. Good idea or bad idea? I hate IKEA anyway, and after a bad experience I had there in getting my bedroom furniture, I refuse to shop there ever again, but I was wondering what your guys opinions on this was....good idea, or a way for IKEA to make more money??

My fridge is about 4 years old and is a GE. I just noticed today that it is not keeping things very cold. It is keeping them cold enough that they are not spoiling but still it isn't very cold. I do have it turned up all the way to 9, and the freezer side seems to be doing just fine.
Help please!

I just moved here from Wisconsin and I am really looking forward to starting a garden. I know in WI you can't really plant until May. I am sure that it is sooner here. Also how do I find out what zone I am in and what grows well here? Thanks for the help!!!

New buds and small bright green leaves are forming above and below the large old leaves. But the old leaves are basically dark, with only partial green. Plus of course they are much larger at this point in time.

I kind of thought with the mild temps and a little spring rain that they might pop up a little earlier this year.

I have a new picture that I just bought to hang above my couch. I am not sure to center it with the couch because it does not move and nor can it ever be moved because of the size and design of my living room. My other option is to center it with the a wall that is quite long, but because my house is a split bi-level the wall is on the same side as the entrance way and there is a railing there to divide the entrance and the living room. so I was thinking that I could center it on the wall but only center it between the railing and the other wall. I am not sure what the rule of thumb is. Hope someone can help me!!

I've been offered a 3 year old pool set up for free. I'm trying to decide if I can afford the maintenance, electricity, chemicals, etc. Can anyone give me some approximate costs. I'm in middle Tennessee, it would not be heated.

Here are the details:

1. The bowl at rest seems to be full of more water than it should.
2. When you flush it, it very slowly, weakly, begins to spiral and then exit through the bottom.
3. It never fully exits...it kind of pools around the exit - I can't tell if it's just because not all of the water is exiting, or it's filling so fast that it can't all exit. Whatever the reason, it pools near the exit at the end of the flush process.
4. It doesn't seem that the exit is blocked. It passes normal sized payloads alright, but if the payload is a bit larger - nothing a normal toilet would have a problem with - it does have a problem.

That's about it. I hope someone can help me with this. Maybe it's a combination of things - tank level, water cut off level, etc.

Ok so I'm redoing my room and I'm having the hardest time finding curtains. Everything is either too long, too boring, or just ugly. I'm looking for an aqua sheer curtain.
I've already looked at
-Target
-Sears
-JC Penny
-Bed Bath and Beyond
-Linens and Things

Where should I look now?
