I just moved here from Wisconsin and I am really looking forward to starting a garden. I know in WI you can't really plant until May. I am sure that it is sooner here. Also how do I find out what zone I am in and what grows well here? Thanks for the help!!!

Yep, the cool weather stuff can go in now. Radishes, onions, cabbage, potatoes. The warm weather stuff won't be far behind. I'd guess you're three to four weeks earlier in TN than you were in WI. As far as what zone you're in, check on the back of seed packets; there should be a pic of the U.S. with the zones marked on it in different colors...

The best time to plant and have a bountiful garden is on good Friday. I did this when I lived in TN and had more veggies and fruit than I knew what to with. Good Luck. By the way onions and lettuce shoul be going in the ground now
