I have a very nice pot with five tulips that recently bloomed. The flowers are about gone now. What is the best way and time to transfer the bulbs into the ground for blooming next spring? Can I plant them now or should I wait until fall? What do I do with bulbs until they're ready to plant? Do I take off the stems from the bulbs?

I notice that occassionally you see a down comforter for sale that says "machine washable." however, mine says "dry clean only." What is it about some that make them machine washable? Isn't down made from ducks? and ducks like to get wet- so why couldn't my comforter get wet?

The new pool pump is the same model number of the old but the motor number is different now (by one number at the end). Meanwhile, my pool is now FULL of green algae since we've been without a pump for the last month with temps in the 80's as well as rainfall. I'm feeling overwhelmed. We have already had to return one pump we ordered because hubby got the wrong HP. Now we have the right pump but the motor seems to be wired differently. Any suggestions?

For a school project I invented a new way to clean pots. Basically I felt that I didn't like cleaning pots after they had gotten messy. Most pots are not dishwasher safe so it became a nuisance to clean them. It would be a real help if you could answer the question, (do you like cleaning pots?) say your gender and age, you don't have to enter your country, but if you did that'd be nice. Thank you so much!!

Hi, I am really concerned about some of the squirrels in my front yard. About 5 months ago, I noticed a squirrel with no hair on his tail.. He almost looked like a rat. He was definately a squirrel though. More and more have cropped up over the months. Some have different degrees of hair loss on the tail - but always the tail. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? They are New Jersey squirrels (I guess the Grey Squirrel?) I'm afraid that if it's mange, my dog may catch it? or worse yet, maybe there is something growing out there that isn't good for animals? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks! Joyce

I have been reading all the previous questions about installing a bathroom fan with a vent that only opens when the bathroom fan is running. However, no one giving an answer mentions the name of a specific manufacterer/model number and I can not find a one using Yahoo search. My local versions of the two nationally-known hardware stores are very limited and very unhelpful with this question.

in a commercial setting (school, buisness etc.) the grounding prong is placed above the two other prongs (like they are just flipped over). Why?

This is what I'm talking about

There is a room in my house that used to be a garage but the previous owners changed it into a bedroom. Unfortunately, they didn't do a very good job because when it rains, the floor gets soaked. What can I do to seal it that will be relatively easy and inexpensive?
