Push and twist (the opposite way it rotates when cutting) on the plastic end cap. You may have to twist hard, because of dust and dirt 'holding' the cap on. This will reveal the spool. the spool is probably held on by a captive hex-nut. Just take a wrench to the nut. There will be arrows on the spool to tell you which direction to wind the new line. OR, you can install a pre-wound spool of line in place of the old one.

I wind my own -- it's a lot cheaper.

I recommend removing the whole head and replace with the Alligator. The Alligator has 3 blades that can easily be replaced and lasts much longer than the line.
