first thing is to stop running water and figure out why it isn't draining. If you have a sump pump in the basement use a push broom and push the water to the sump pit. I'm guessing you have a blockage in your sewer somewhere. You keep trying to drain more water through them and it's just going to keep backing up through the floor drains or anywhere else that is open. Call a sewer cleaning service asap.

A sewer cleaning service will cost from $200 - $500 if that's all that's wrong. A broken pipe will be more.

It isn't surface water, unless you are on a septic system, water a lot, or, are down hill from someone who does. I think you sewer is stopped up. Open up the cleanout and see if it is full of water. If not watch it and have the toilets flushed. I think it is time for Roto Rooter.

Depending on where you live, it's spring time and there is a lot of ground water coming from the winter thaw. If it's ground water rising then you will need to install a sump pump in the crawl space and discharge it into your existing sewer system. We get a lot of that here in Alaska.

Roto-Rooter or some equivalent. You probably have roots or something you may not want to know about blocking your drain line. Should cost about $100.00 but its better than an unwanted indoor (cess)pool.

maybe if you have a septic tank it needs to be cleaned out by a septic service. if you are running sewage & waste water from your house to city sewer system you may need to have your main sewer pipe scoped with a video camera maybe a collapsed sewer pipe or tree roots grow into sewer pipes & will need to be rootered out.

good luck

The best thing to do is to call a contractor/building inspector to find out what is going on. It's possible you have an underground water source backing up in your basement.
Get the homeowner's policy out while your at it and see what it covers. This could get ugly and expensive.
