I have been diagnosed by my family doctor as having two bulging disks. I have a lot of pain with them. I am going to a back sugeon tomorrow. I would really like to have some questions ready. I have already tried physical therapy twice and I currently take an anti inflamatory med and Darvocet as needed. Of course I will ask what are my non surgical options. I am only 26 years old and I have had this pain for years so surgery is not completely out of the question. I've heard there is not much they can do besides surgery and therapy.
Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks!!

I heard something pop sorta outaplace, then a secon later it poped back in. It wasnt that bad when it happened cause i just kept on playing. But as soon as i came home i sat down and i felt some pain to bend it. The pain isnt that bad, but ive heard stories about things that could get worse. How long should i wait to see a doctor, or should i just suck it up and go play some more Rugby!! thats what im leaning toward at the moment.

This coming Sunday 01-21 will make 2 weeks of being sober from Marijuana. I've been drinking 2 Liters of water and about 2 cups of Cranberry juice every day now. I'm also planning to take the Cleansing juice on test day. What are my chances of passing? What should I continue to do or do different? Is the Cleansing juice still important to take at test day? By test time, I will be a month clean. Please help and I really appriciete it...

Alright i had asked before about the substance coming out o f the back of my throat (chunks of white stuff); well ok now i have another problem. three days ago my throat got sore, but i havent had any other symptoms of a cold. its swollen, red and white splotched, nodes are tender, slightly painful when swallowing and more of those chunks are coming out. all the signs of strep. now i went and had a culture done, but its not strep. and was told if it doesnt go away in 2-3 days to come back in to the docs...and to just take sore throat medicine. well its swelled up more today.
anyone got an idea of what it is and what i can do?

I got my belly button pierced 3 months ago and when i got it done the guy said that there might be some crusty-ness when I went to clean it but that was okay because it was a sign I was healing.

But the thing is, that I haven't had any crusty-ness or anything. Does that mean it's not healing?
How long will it take for it to fully heal?

I had an infected wound from a cyst removal. The doctor cauterized this area with silver nitrate and it left a 1/8" deep hole where he removed the infection. I do have an appointment in a month for him to look at the area to see how it is healing, but I was just wondering if anybody knew how long it would take for the 1/8" wound to close on its own? Thanks.

They are on their way to the doctors office to see if there is anything they can do to help. Does anyone know of any over the counter pain relievers that are save for babies? (He already burnt the tip of his finger touching the fireplace. Which wasn't bad at all.) He knows HOT, but we have a new roommate who seems to be occupied in getting his gear unwrinkled. My wife told me the Iron had been off for a few minutes, but the burn is starting to blister. I hate roommates, but when times are tough you have to do what you can to help family out. I'm thinking about giving him the boot, but the situation at hand is more then just saying leave. He has no where to go, and he is family. Anyway, I want to know if there are others who have experienced burns on hands and what can be done to keep a 16month old baby from injuring it more or causing irritation. How can I keep him from making the situation worse?

Thanks,

Randy
