Once every so often, I get these migraines that start with blurry vision & then all light bothers me. And then the migraine/headache pain comes. After awhile vomiting starts. And then I sleep it off for three to four hours. No medication has helped so far, anything I take just comes up when I vomit. What could this be? Is it normal?

It's my second time vomiting from drinking, and I realize that I tend to end up throwing up water (or even worse, stomach fluid?). Afterwards, I feel a burning pain in my throat, and worst of all, my vocal chords get screwed up. Last time, they were so screwed up that I couldn't sing properly for over a month, almost 2. So just wondering what I need to do or what foods I should avoid to help my vocal chords recover? And is it possible that they are slightly permanently damaged (cuz eversince my last time vomiting, my voice gets kind of scratchy easily)?

I fell about 6 or 7 stories. Went and landed feet first, which is probably why I can still walk fine. (stiffness occasionally in cold weather) I have rods in the full length of both my thieghs, and I was wondering if there is some truth to the saying that once you have rods placed in your legs, your legs CANT rebreak. Of course I know if I fell again, I'd be really messed up.........But is it true that the area of the bone where the rod is placed cannot be rebroken??

any pictures etc on the effects, that could shock him into being less selfish? I dont like him smoking but he chooses to, why should i have to suffer it also? i choose not to smoke. I know he will smoke in the living room if he thinks he can get away with it, i might be in the bedroom sleeping etc. He says he will quit if i get pregnant but to me that is just him saying my life isnt worth his consideration, only our baby. Even in the car he will open the window just a wee bit to let the smoke out and obviously it mainly stays in the car, he says its cold outside, i would much rather be cold than breathing it in. Are all smokers this selfish?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylt=Av3mgLAU_BfyD6ncoWdkRx9c1KIX - - - This needs to be short so in a pin cushion. We were embarrassed at these meetings! The people were medicating themselves out where everyone who drove by or walked by could see! One guy could not even walk he was so out of it. Everyone was so paranoid, this is legal right? The license says it is? Awhile later we buy more of this "medication" $300 bucks worth. This is free? We noticed those who had no money and were new were treated like muchers and one lady looked embarrassed. These are people in pain or sick!! The people running the show were so stoned that they could not function! My question (finally) This stuff works for me! But these people! We are so uncomfortable! We can not seam to make friends with any of them! I am not a cop, I am not part of the law, but treated this way (way I look, and act I have been told). I am not going to use this stuff just because everyone else is. Am I over reacting?

So Tuesday, I found out that my professor canceled class this week due to a family emergency. That's two classes canceled and we didn't meet last week either (that's four consecutive classes canceled). This information worried me...

Maybe ten or fifteen minutes later while sitting in the computer lab, I experienced a sudden tightening pain in my chest cavity. It felt as if there was a bubble in there. This pain would come and go. The pain has not gone completely away. It still comes and goes from time to time. My heart rate is usually pretty high, like 90+, even prior to the sudden chest pains.

I am 20 years of age. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs. I eat fairly well and am not overweight. What are the odds that this is serious?

OK, I had this problem for about 3 months already. My eyes keep on hurting almost every day. It just comes and goes. My eyes feel entirely fine, but then all of a sudden I start feeling a little sting and the pain gets worst. It usually takes about 5 minutes long for the pain to go away, but it keeps on coming back. Especially when I am presenting in class and my eyes start to sting, that would be embarrassing. Tears come out of my eyes when they start to hurt so it would look like I'm crying. I wouldn't want that to happen. Could it be an allergic reaction? Is it because I'm to much on the computer? ( I am always on the computer chatting with my friends . I also watch a lot of T.V.) What is your best guess of what I might have or what is making my eyes hurt?

We think a family member is being poisioned be his Exwife. While he is in the hospital he is fine till after she visists then he is very violently ill. We discussed it with the doctor tonight. but he shrugged us off. If the doctor is not going to listen to us. and do any procationary blood work to see if we are right we cannot go to the police. What can we do to get the doctor's to listen?

She had a hemmroidectomy to stop the severe bleeding. She had lived with the hemmroids for over 45 yrs. There were a few complications after her surgery stemming off of the fact that the anemia had weakened her so and she is a diabetic, too many strikes against her. Now we have been home from the hosp. for 10 days and we are 2 weeks post surgery and she is still complaining of severe pain at the site. She did hav to get the area repacked a week before leaving the hosp. because there was more trace bleeding. Should she be feeling better at this point? What is the normal recouperation time for someone with such severe hemmroids?Any suggested medications for at site pain? She is disabled with severe stenosis of the spine, and diabetes, so mobility is always at a minimum, always on affected surgery spot. Really at a loss here.

Since i was 5 or 6 years old if i'm not mistaken,i have a sudden interest in either watching tv that shows dramas or movies that has a hero performing CPR on the heroine to revive her back to life either due to drowning, asphixiation, heart attack, etc. until now.I also loves to read medical books with CPR illustrations(female as the victim) when i go to the library.Sometimes i did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions on my wife for fun.My wife does admit that i'm kinda weird for choosing this as a fetish but later on she does'nt mind at all.She said she love it to since she get used to it for quite a long time.I do worry if i might broke her ribs or even interupt her normal heart rythm while doing chest compressions on her but so far she's ok.Seriously i love her so much and really don't want her to get hurt just because of my weird fetish. Is this something normal for a men to have such a fetish? My wife is an EMT.

Hong Kong is a city with relatively low tax, (compared with some other countries such as Canada, which makes perfect sense to have a free health care system)
So should citizens in Hong Kong be provided with free health care as well? Will that include Primary as well as Secondary Health Care? Should free health care be provided to tourists as well?

It has always been the HK Government's fundamental philosophy that no one will be denied adequate medical care due to lack of means. Is this practical at all, or is this just an idealistic idea?

Recently whenever I am bending my left leg during my sleep I am having some sort of pain and then for a few moments I can't stretch my leg. It feels like as if I stretched one of my veins behind my knee. When I walk getting up from bed it hurts little.
Is it anything serious? Is there any way I can reduce it?
