I just got in a car wreck, I was rear ended. I have a concussion. The ER doc said, persistant sleepiness, nausea, dizziness, hampered speech, confusion, a bad headache, etc. If later you have projectile or repeated vomiting, one pupil larger than the other, seizure, coma(inablity to wake up) or if someone has difficulty arousing you from sleep, slurred speech, diffculty walking, etc thats a sign of swelling in the brain and you have to get back to the ER. Im also being babysat for 24 hours so others can make sure that Im okay. Hope this helps.

Other people have given you good advice. Also, wanting to go to sleep is a sign that the person is in shock. If you think a person might have a concussion, do not let them go to sleep. In fact, it's a good idea to get an exam even if you are not sure the person has a concussion. They are very serious.
