Since i was 5 or 6 years old if i'm not mistaken,i have a sudden interest in either watching tv that shows dramas or movies that has a hero performing CPR on the heroine to revive her back to life either due to drowning, asphixiation, heart attack, etc. until now.I also loves to read medical books with CPR illustrations(female as the victim) when i go to the library.Sometimes i did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions on my wife for fun.My wife does admit that i'm kinda weird for choosing this as a fetish but later on she does'nt mind at all.She said she love it to since she get used to it for quite a long time.I do worry if i might broke her ribs or even interupt her normal heart rythm while doing chest compressions on her but so far she's ok.Seriously i love her so much and really don't want her to get hurt just because of my weird fetish. Is this something normal for a men to have such a fetish? My wife is an EMT.

Fetish by definition is not normal but a lot of people have them and they can be about anything IE lipstick, hats, feet or in your case CPR. I'm sure the reason why you find it so exciting was as a child you saw the rescuer giving CPR and you saw the attention or success as being exciting/a rush which translates for you now as a way to get that same rush by simulating a rescue.

Unfortunately, your fetish could be dangerous as it is not recommended to be done on someone who doesn't need it. As said by others before me, I can't believe your wife as being a trained EMT would allow you do to actually compressions on her. Yes, there is a chance you could break ribs (even when used in a true medical emergency), injure her by disrupting her heart normal heart rhythm.

If you and your wife cannot find a better less dangerous way to channel your sex gratificiation I would seek professional assistance as I don't see continuing this behavior is good. Good is not a judgement of good versus bad here..not talking about sin but bad as endangering your partner's life.

Personally I think you should talk to someone. In the meantime, stop doing chest compressions on your wife. I am a nurse, and I was a CPR instructor in the past, and I have done CPR on real people more times than I like to think about. There's nothing romantic or sexual about it. You can do serious damage to your wife's ribs, and if your hand position isn't exactly correct, you can lacerate her liver or rupture her spleen (meaning: fairly rapid and painful death). If you must do CPR, I suggest you invest in a CPR instruction mannequin. You can pound away on that until the cows come home. As for doing artificial respiration on your wife, I don't think you could do her any damage, as long as you're gentle. I just hope you use mouthwash first. I still recommend you go see a therapist, though. Or become an EMT; I guarantee the first time you have to do CPR in an emergency, it won't seem like so much fun. Believe me, it's nothing like what you see on TV.

If your wife is an EMT, then she should know you never perform CPR on a person who has a heartbeat . One day you could get carried away and really compress to hard and that can interrupt the rhythm of the heart. Are you certified in CPR? Maybe you should try another fetish, like the feet maybe. That would be less harmless.

I've definitely heard of people breaking ribs doing CPR, I would cease with the CPR... perhaps there's other things that you can do? It's just that CPR is a medical procedure that puts stress on the body in ways that I don't think are sustainable, I would stop the chest compressions.

Hmm. Hmm. Yes, this is a very strange fetish, and if you harm your wife or anyone else in the process of giving in to your fetish and pleasuring youself you will go to jail. Maybe you shall consider the adivce of a therapist or counselor to help you get to the bottom of your fetish, becuase it doesn't sound like it's strictly CPR. It sounds more like a female fetish, regards to the feminine aspect of professional life saving techniques and such.
Regards.

Normal? No one's really normal. Everyone has weird little urges.

What really matters is the strength of the urge. If you find yourself wanting to go to the beach just so you can do mouth-to-mouth on some unconscious women, you might want to seek professional help.

Sounds to me like you just enjoy the idea of being able to do mouth-to-mouth (read: kiss) on unconscious women. So I would again recommend professional help such as seeing a psychologist or seeing how there isn't exactly a drug cure for this type of stuff perhaps even your spiritual advisor.

Everyone has fetishes, so there is nothing wrong with that, but this particular could hurt your wife. I would try to get over it or find a different one that wouldn't hurt anyone.
