Depends. I realized a few years ago that my really bad headaches were coming from lack of caffeine cuz apparently I'm addicted to caffeine and hadnt had any for a few days and was going through withdrawals, drinking a glass of coke immediately got rid of my 4 day long headache. So if you think maybe you have the same problem, drink up! But for my non-caffeine related headaches I always go with Excedrin.

If you know it's a headache and not a migraine you could take some Advil or Aleve (never take both within 24 hours of each other). A more natural way would be to increase your water intake and chew some gum. Most headaches are caused by tension, tighening of the muscles in your head..water will help hydrate you and the gum chewing will help stretch some muscle.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
