General Health Care - November 2006

I filed a workmans comp claim which was settled. I have been taking medication for my injury since 1996 which controls my dizzines and headaches. I am no longer able to perform on jobs that I qualify for. My question is--- How do I apply for permanent disability. Do I apply through Social Security or California EDD. Which would I qualify for?
I have through my settlment Life time Medical. I am unable to work anymore.

I used ice and benedryl, but still swollen, and my palm is now also sore. I never used pesticide or fertilizer on this plant.

Five years ago, I was found to have 2 small gallstones with a diagnostic ultrasound. At that time, GI doc advised NOT getting the gall bladder out. Recently, I've been experiencing midsection gas and pain (not RUQ as is typical of gall bladder attacks) overnight. Taking Tums seems to alleviate the pain. Am I correct in assuming that if this pain were being caused by my gall bladder that antacids would NOT help?

I just stubbed my toe and it is already starting to swell up .
It hurts like a bit** when i move it .i taped it to the other toe.so it will have some support.I have never broken any thing befour .How long to you think it will take to heal.

I have already seen a doctor and have had a nerve test done,but they don't know whats wrong.It's been a few years since it started and now it's getting worse and.Everytime I sit I'm in pain and trying to get back up is worse.I'm only 26 years old!Help what's wrong with me and what can I do for the pain?

I have never had knee pain in my life. Ive always been an active person up until now. Im 30 and in the last 3 or 4 month i have been suffering realy sore knees. It becomes realy painful that im finding it hard to go up stairs. Can anyone help or does anyone have a solution.? please help

Everytime I go out or do anything, go to a football game, go out to eat and than starbucks. Just regular everyday things my eyes get all blood shot. And this never happens to anyone else I know! .at your hip socket would you beable to walk or could it be possible that you popped it back into place,when i move my leg in certain directions i can make my hip make a loud pop noise and it makes my leg jump a little,it also hurts if i stand to long..would you have to have surgery if that did happen and later it caused you problems or would therapy work?

For the past two weeks, when I've been lying in bed at night, sudden sharp pains have come on in the back of my head. They last about ten minutes at a time and occur most nights. I haven't taken any paracetamol for the pain as I'm concerned they'll make it worse. I'm not sure whether to see a doctor about it...should I be worried??
