General Health Care - November 2006

My fiance came home around 8:45 tonight . He could barely drive home because he said he had bad cramps . Well , he went and layed down on the bed and I gave him a heating pad(didn't help) , he passed gas a couple of times and burped numurous times but yet no relief . Now he is extreme pain , his voice is trembling when he talks . The pain is located in the 'bread-basket' . When he breathes out, it causes him and great deal of pain !!


Please Help ! I would be obliged to anyone that could give me some advice !

this also with wearing ridiculous shoes and complaining that your feet hurt... I mean Really.... what's that about....
You wore them last time and.......yup your feet hurt that time too, what's going to change.....

I'm on moderate to severe pain killers for chronic back pain.
On the packet it says take on to two capsules four times a day. My doc told me if i'm in alot of pain i could take 3 which i did 2-2.5 hours ago but they seem to be not working. Would it be wrong of me to take 4 when the times up to take more. I called my doc to ask but recepitist said he doesnt really take calls. But i would need to ask him so i said can i make an appointment to see him they said sorry his booked out today....could i over dose on them if i just risk taking 4?

everytime i get sad or something or my feeling get hurt or something like that i will get this feeling in my chest its not a pain (and i know its not like a problem with my body or somethin) but it kind of hurts then i have the chills

My leg was fine all summer until I played basketball for the 1st time this year. I had all kind of test last spring and all they said was a slight pcl tear? It's weird that I can walk almost normal until I sit down for for than 10 minutes, then if I get up I can hardly straighten my leg or walk. It's really not a problem with the knee, it's behind on the back sideof leg behind knee. Any thought????

but two weeks before that my I was rotating my eyes to the left randomly and I heard like a crack or something and all I know is that it hurt alot...well..I feel like in my pics my eye looks sorta pushed and it looks diff from before..my doc really didnt say anything..is it possible for it too look like this forever..or will it ever go back??

I have blood tests, came back normal. CT scans (normal) checked for diabeties not dibetic my doctor seems to have no idea whats wrong with me I am really scared that there is some thing seriouly wrong with me as I am not getting any better. please help!!!I have been in hospital several times, just had EKG not got results of that yet. theonly thing that helps is laying down with my feet up with ice pack on my head?? I have now lost my job!! I cant eat and have already lost 15kg please if anyone help me I am really freaked out!! thanks, coop.

a family member was airvacced to a hospital to another state appoximately 3 hrs away and now has no ride home. What can one do to get your loved one back hom when you have no transportation to pick them up or any other means to get them back. help.

Yesterday morning I injured my finger with a basketball. I put ice on it, but the swelling kept getting worse. It's the middle finger on my left hand, I can type, but I can't do much else as I'm lefty. Anyway, the joint and all surrounding area has turned into a dark purple/blackish color. I THINK I'm getting an X-Ray tomorrow, not sure how my mom's dealing with this. I'm thinking I need one soon...the top half of my finger, above the injury, is deathly white, the bottom, where it's not purple, is red. I can move it up and down, but only from the knuckle. Besides that I can't do anything.

What I really want to know is, how can I distinguish between a fracture and a sprain? Also, since the incident, I've been getting sharp headaches in the area behind my ear. Could this have some relation, or is it all psychosomatic?

i ran into this guy about 9 months ago and we hit it off.i was still bitter about catching my ex of a few years cheating(they r mutual freinds)he listend and understood,he drove me hom ethat night and i invited him to stay, i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept he was such a gentlamn,things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual freind told me he liked me but was freaked about my ex(who still wants me back)i saw this guy again 2 months later and he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and upset that we liked eachother.i sent him a text a couple weeks later and he never replied.i saw him again at a party a couple weeks ago(6 month later)he walked in and saw me and looked away.I will be seeing him at a funeral this week.

Back pain - sitting all at the office all day is ironically painful, but quitting is not an option. If I space out 3 Advil throughout the workday, I can tolerate the pain.

My son has a fever of 103.6, and it has been there for the last hour. Well, this morning he had a fever of 103, but it broke after tylenol and motrin and a cool bath, however this time I had to give him tylenol and motrin both an hour early, and so far it hasn't broke....... my ???? is should I wait it out until tomarrow and take him to a doctor, or should I take him to the ER tonight..... past experiences with the ER is simple... they sent me home everytime, and I wasted money to go there for nothing.... and then I wuold end up at the doctors a couple of days later.. and since I just gave him tylenol and motrin an hour ago.... I was thinking about waiting a little longer to see if it breaks, and if it keeps going up I'll take him. But my husband on the other hand says to wait, so... if anyone has dealt with this, what will the ER do if not send me home... If I can't get it to go down.. what will happen?? Also my son is 2 years old. Thanks!!!

I have degenerative disk disease, two disk herniations and arthrits. Im 29 and Ive been in unbearable pain pretty consistantly for about a year
Ive tried everything for pain relief rest, all types of shots, PT, accupuncture, massage, yoga, you name it, I tried it. Nothing works. Any suggestion? Natural ones?
And also my employer has had enough, they can't fire me for my medical issues be they are definatly looking in to other ways to get rid of me. Im having a hard time preforming a majority of my job functions. Any ideas for that situation would be real helpful too
