The hair is not just a part of your body and it is a symbol of beauty, status and health. It is important for you to take proper care of your health in order to prevent early hair loss. Learn here https://bitly.im/aOevt It is not a very serious problem and with a little bit of caution you will be able to prevent further hair loss. There are certain uncontrollable factors like pregnancy conditions or certain illness or genetic factors that will result in hair loss. But, this does not mean that you cannot do something about your hair loss.

Hi Ladybird,
I have been on very heavy duty pain killers for 22 years. My dad was on morphine...same thing as Oxycontin , my mom was on Darvocet N 100's , my husband is on methadone , and they haven't nor have I , had a problem with hair loss. Ya might try taking some of the B vitamins. and a change in shampoo might help also. Good luck. I hope this helps ya some.
GBU ..a friend in pain lol

There are a bunch of side effects from Codiene based drugs, but hair loss isn't one of them. They're not the type of painkillers you want to be taking for more than a month, or you'll develop a tolerance to the Codiene and have to keep increasing your dosage to kill the pain. Try a non-narcotic like Naproxyn instead.

No, might be Thyroid and if you eat too much soy products like tofu that can make you lose hair too or if you are off hormones or taking tamoxifen (it suppresses the hormones in your body; so does soy)
If you are vegetarian that could be the problem

No, but what you're using the medication for may cause hair loss.
Oxycodone is widely used as an analgesic aid in cancer treatment.
