I started marching bass drum for about a month now. However I have only actually marched with it about 6 times... I've stood and practiced a lot more, but for the most part it creates a crippling back pain during. In addition to that the harness bruises my hips... is there anything I can do to help aide the pain. I'm not much of a complainer this is the problem, its a pretty bad pain... I wouldn't say I already have back problems but i'm notorious for having back aches fairly easily.... anybody else feel this or... have advice for my back and hips?

Okay, so my friend has had a really bad headache for the past several days. It has been coming and going, and lasts through the night. She is convinced she has a brain tumor. The pain is throught her head, meaning not just the front or not just the back. She has been taking tylenol several times during the day, but it usually doesn't help. Sometimes it even makes her feel a little bit dizzy.

p.s. She is a high school student and it does not have anything to do with her menstrual cycle.

I'm sure plenty of people will tell me that doing so will lead to serious injury, but I don't know, something tells me this isn't the case. I've heard about people advocating the benefits of going barefooted, and I'm curious as to why walking on a treadmill would be any different. I tried to find information online but didn't have any luck. Could anyone tell me exactly why it is so dangerous? Again, I'm talking about light walking, not training for a marathon. :)

I am 13 years old and yesterday I had to lift one of those 28 foot fiberglass ladders to get a ball from the roof so I had to lift the ladder from benith it in order for the ladder to touch the roof (I lifted the ladder like the people who work on big weights). I only lifted it in less than one minute. I did't feel that the ladder was that heavy (although it was 28 foot tall) becuase it was made from fiber glass.

The next day, I felt a horrible pain by the tail bone area and by the lowest part of the backbone.

I only feel the pain when I sit down or bend my body. I wanna be tall when I grow because I wanna play pro BKB when I grow.

Is the pain a sign that I won't grow anymore? Will I stop growing? Will I grow improperly? Please help me!!!

When I was one, I had rhumatoid arthritis, a few years ago (when I was 16) I found out that I had bulging discs in my spine. The pain was intense! I got epidural steriod injections for a long time and I was on physical therapy for about 3 months at no cost to me becuase I was still a child, but when I turned 18 my Partners for Healthy Children benefits ran out (South Carolina). The shots cost about 700 dollars a piece and I obviously can't afford that. The pain is still intense every once in a while. Any programs out there that can help me in SC or anywhere else?

It doesnt feel like its muscle pain its like getting pricked with needles inside your abdomen and lower back area. Its hard to explain but if I move around or bend over or touch the area it does not hurt its only when taking deep breaths.

Its not the worst break in the world and there's not much swelling - but my nose is altered and I would like it back the way it was. What is the procedure that does this and what does it entail?

No jokes about two bricks and a bottle of gin please! ( had enough of those already from family!)

PS It was my 2 year old son who did this to me!

The toe still hurts alot after a few hours. I remember one time I got two fingers caught in the garage door and I ended up losing those fingernails about a week later. When the toenail bleeds underneath, do you always end up losing it?
