When I was one, I had rhumatoid arthritis, a few years ago (when I was 16) I found out that I had bulging discs in my spine. The pain was intense! I got epidural steriod injections for a long time and I was on physical therapy for about 3 months at no cost to me becuase I was still a child, but when I turned 18 my Partners for Healthy Children benefits ran out (South Carolina). The shots cost about 700 dollars a piece and I obviously can't afford that. The pain is still intense every once in a while. Any programs out there that can help me in SC or anywhere else?

I'm really not sure if it is considered a disability. I know in Wisconsin where I live it isn't considered a disability but I would check with your local Social Security office. I do know you have to prove that you can't work and will need a lot of medical proof as well backing you up.

A bulging disc indicates an abnormal curvature of the spine.. or, scoliosis.. You have not yet seen a doctor of Chiropractic.. this condition falls within their specialty.. Perhaps it is past time to remedy that situation.

I don't know about disability, but you had best get yourself to a doctor and have those bulging discs relieved.
If they don't go away on their own (I'm told that this is the usual outcome of bulging discs), they can cause severe spinal cord damage.
