Asthma. That may be the red light.

Sounds like its time to go to the emergency room, and get an x ray. You might have a hole in your lung (Spontaneous Pneumo-Thorax) Which feels simular to that. Or possibly a vertebrae is out in your back, pinching a nerve. In either case, its time to let the docs take a look at you. if left untreated, Pneumo-Thorax can lead to lung collapse, heart failure due to pressure on the heart muscle, and death. If it's a nerve pinched, the damage could become perminant, causing loss of mobility, pain, and diminished capacity. Better safe than sorry.

It could be several things. You could have pneumonia. You could have a rib or two out of place, or even broken if you've been injured lately. Your best bet is to go see your doctor or an urgent care facility. We cannot diagnose you over the internet....

well, I just got over mono 2 weeks ago, and i had something like that, cause my spleen was enlarged.. could be muscles, spleen, ribs, lungs even... all doctors i've seen tell me to write down the abnormal happenings in the body, to match up with symptoms... I'd write down the repititons of the pain, how long they last, how long in between, etc.
Hope this helps

I would get a chest x-ray done, you could just have anxiety pains. have you been under any kind of stress? Stress comes out in weird ways. Do you smoke? If you do, cut back or quit!
