i recently fell outside of work (about two weeks ago)... my face slammed onto the ground. I ended up having to wear my retainer again after a long period of time going without. (i'm 20). everything on my face hit (forehead, nose, lip, teeth, chin)... I recently started feeling jaw pain (on the left side only.. just slight soreness)... it will go away for a few days and then come back. could this be associated with the above? it seems like is should have gone away by now. only hurts when i open... kind of feels like swelling (can feel it kind of in my ear as well).

I injured my wrist about a year ago. I was banging on walls with my hand and my wrist feels horrible now when I try lifting. Could I have prevented this by using a plaster after my injury?

My friend who had an operation to put in a rod to help heal a bone fracture in lower leg --- fibula and tibia --- is supposed to have been given a general anaesthesia mixed in food, as I heard from someone. I need to know what kind of general anaesthesia would this be? He said the doctor kept slapping him to wake him up saying the surgery is over.

Is this anaesthesia enough to put in a rod or would he also have received local anaesthesia? below his waist for the entire lower body or only down the knee on which the operation was held?

Where is the anaesthesia for below the waist given?

With general anaes. would he be reuired to receive catheterisation for unrination? with anaesthesia below the waist?

I get very bad earache in cold, windy weather. Obviously, it's the cold and wind tht sets the earache off, but until 10 years ago I didn't have a problem with it, and most people don't seem to have such a problem. Is there anything that makes one person more prone to it than another, and is there anything I can do about it (other than permanently attach ear muffs?)

I will lock my car before going to the house but while in the house watching TV something will tell me that I did not lock the car and I am sure that I locked the car but to verify I find myself opening the door and going to the garage to check if indeed I locked, Or sometimes to go and check if I really pulled the hand break. Am I very carefull or just sick?

It's been quite the day for me... I was cleaning my ears with a cotton swab and it almost got stuck in my ear... IT HURT SO MUCH... I felt like my ear was ringing. Afterwards headed for the shower and as I washed my face the bottle squirted into my eye. Thanks Neutrogena! It burns so bad... I stood there rinsing for 30 minutes and even cried, which did help it feel better-lol- but my eye feels extremely dry and very red. Hurts to blink. What should I do so I don't wake up with a puffy eye tommorow morning?? Thanks I really appreciate it.

I have to use the computer alot, and I'm sitting properly, but whenever I get up from the computer to do something, my elbows and forearm "pop" and they feel like I was holding something heavy for an extremely long time. I do have mild tendonitis, but I've been doing the stretches, hot/cold water immersion, putting big ice packs on my forearm for as much as I can. When I sit back down to type or use the mouse my forearms become sore, even if I've completed a stretch, water and ice routine. My forearms are flat on the table. Sometimes when I wake up my forearms pop to.

Is anyone familiar with massages that relieve pain on your forearm and elbow? I know that my elbows are tender because when I press lightly against the underside of my elbow it slightly hurts. Thanks!
