Today, as I was walking to a bus stop, I all of a sudden had a horrible, intense pain in the back of my left thigh. Nowhere else. I have no idea what it is, it seems like it could be a muscle or likelly a nerve problem. Now, I have to walk a weird way, and I don't know what it is. If I don't walk on the ball of my left food (near toes), I get that horrible, stiff-like, shooting pain. I'm a 17 year old girl who has never had any medical problems. Should I be concerned?

My 17 year old daughter takes darvocet on a regular basis for lupis. Is it safe to cut these in half and give her half the dosage. When she takes the full dose she cannot function at school so half of a tablet seems to help her not be so drowsy. She takes 650 mg twice a day.

I have back pain fairly often, but I can bend over backwards and usually get about 4 or 5 cracks out of back and then it feels better. Am I playing the role of my own chiropractor or am I setting myself up for serious back pain in the future (I'm 21 years old now).

Usually nobody can beat me at Trivial Pursuit, or any games like that, but if I read the newspaper, or a book, I cannot hardly tell you a thing about it an hour later.

I would like council regarding my situation. I was in optometrist office for a regular checkup on Tuesday Jan 30th, and she had mistakenly put in the wrong drops in my eyes that caused my pupils to dilate for several days and not several hours. It's Thursday Feb 1st and I still can't see without the use of glasses -my pupils are still dilated. I have 20:20 vision ordinarily. What should I do? This is causing me and my family much distress.
