A few days after this happened (she poked around alot!), my inside arm from the wrist to the elbow was all sore, like it was bruised but with no bruise showing. It's now over a week and getting no better. It's almost like I can feel my sore vein there! Is there anything I need to worry about, I mean could bacteria or anything gotten in there. Mind you, no blood was drawn from that site - She got someone else to do it on the other arm and I feel nothing over there. I'm just not sure if I should have it checked out or not. I know the soreness is definately from the attempt, but don't know what could be wrong. Thanks for any input.
Mary

It's 11:50... I'm really tired. I was in bed, for probably an hour already. I just laid there. My husband's already asleep and he has an early morning so I got up so I wouldn't wake him from tossing & turning. I'm on the computer cause it makes my eyes tired. I already tried reading. And I don't want to take a sleeping pill, I don't like them. Any suggestions? This happens to me every couple months, I'll go through a couple days where I can't get to sleep or I wake up through out the night. Mostly it's cause I'm thinking about too many things. *Sigh* I'm just frustrated cause I can't get to sleep. :(

There's an open area that refuses to heal and is oozing bloody/puss looking fluid and also appears to be infected. Currently, care is administered in the form of cleaning the area with Peroxide and then applying Betadine to the affected area. Please advise me at this point what my next action should be..Thanks for your advice

I was just wondering about something. I've heard that is your break your nose for the first time after it heals your nose becomes slightly crooked and it is never the same as before. It doesn't matter the second time as much if you break it. It this true?

I am getting over this huge sinus cold and my nose has been dripping for like two days. All I do is wipe it and blow my nose. Well this has made my nose very sore and raw especially by the nostrils. it hurts. any way to relieve the pain? Also I was running a fever and my step mom was trying to take care of me but she was just adding blankets on top of me! I was trying to tell her that I was running a FEVER but she was like "Here put this heating pad on you. Is she right. My real mom used to tell me to not stay under the covers as much as possible. Even if i was shaking with chills to stay under a sheet and have an ice pack on your head. Who's right?

I am 50 yrs. old and since I was a child, I have been twisting my hair around my fingers and pulling my hair in my sleep until it wakes me. Sometimes I wake up with hair wrapped so tight around my fingers, it shuts off the circulation. I have asked several doctors and they only have answers for hair-pullers that do it while awake. My hair has been short to very long ,length has nothing to do with it, it continues no matter what the length. If anyone has an answer to this very annoying night time activity, please respond!

Four days later I am having continuously worse pain each day. Dr. says that it is normal for it to get worse before getting better, but I am starting to get worried. The procedure in itself was hell-Dr. said she hit a nerve and I screamed...worse pain I have never felt in my life. Finally went to the emergency room Tuesday night, and they gave me a shot of dilaudid and put me on Percocet along with my Norco 10. They said it would just take a few days to get better. It's the strongest medicine that I have ever taken, and it is still not working on the pain. I've been off from work ever since, as the Dr. said that I have to stay down in order for the irritation to heal, which helps marginally, but as soon as I get up to even use the restroom I am in 10-level pain again. Has anyone ever had a problem like this? Or, does anyone have any advise as to what I should do next?

On Wednesday February 14th (yes Valentine's Day did not realize until I made the appointment) I am getting a lumbar Epidural injection. I was wondering if anyone has had any of these and if so could you please tell me about your experience with it. I have 2 bulging disks (L4 and L5) and a larger sway in my back plus my SI joint is out of alignment which is throwing my hip slightly out of socket. I am really nervous about this and am kinda scared. I have heard about the epidural headaches has anyone experienced those? Please anything will help. Thank you.
