I just got bit by a male mosquito. It landed on my shoulder so I swatted it away but it ended up landing on my neck, shortly after I felt a pinch and it flew away. I now have a small portion of raised red skin on my neck. I have always "known" male mosquitoes don t bite humans so I was confused. I then looked it up and couldn t find anything on it so here I am spreading the news.

NO only female mosquitoes bite because they need blood to produce their eggs. But male mosquitoes feed on the nectar of the flowers.............
