The "first time break" idea isn't true at all. There are many mitigating factors that determine how well a nasal fracture "sets:"
1. The severity of the break
2. The type of break
3. The area of the nasal bone fractured
4. Possible involvement of other facial bones
5. Damage to the sinuses
6. Care of the fracture
7. Time elapsed before patient sought treatment
Needless to say, there are hundreds of possible combinations, making it impossible to prove. Personally, I have seen more than one fractured nose (first-time offenders) that healed beautifully.

It all depends on how badly you break it. If its just a small frcture, there's a good chance that no real change will take place. Although, if you really smash it, no matter how good the doctor is at resetting it, you may need plastic surgery to straighten it. Your nose is a bad place to break. It can easily look bad.

No this is so no longer real. I somewhat have the two my tongue and my nostril pierced and that i've got been with the comparable guy for 6 years. we've been thankfully married for 3 years, and we've a 2 300 and sixty 5 days previous son together. Whoever pronounced that, is a liar and is making a sterio form suggestion, this is a organic fantasy.

Nope not true.............
My son broke his nose... and 10 years later it is as perfect as if it never happened.
My husband broke his nose about 20 years ago and it has a slight lump on the bridge due to the injury.
It all depends on the break... the doctor who resets it.. etc.

i think it would depend on the situation, just like breaking any other bone on your body.
