There is such a thing as shift workers syndrome, and you need to see your doctor about it. It can cause headaches and injuries on the job. There are medications that can help. I found a page that talks about one of the medications, and how it may not be as effective as they thought, so you might want to weigh your options. Good luck.

If you have this problem for a long period of time, say for over than 1 month you should see a doctor, he is the only one who could help. However here are some tips to help you sleep.
Take a hot bath before you go to sleep.
Drink a glass of hot milk before you go to bed.
Don't drink coffee(obviously) fro at least 3 hours before you go to bed.
Don't eat heavily before going to bed.
Make sure that your room is aired and the atmosphere is fresh before lying down.
Try reading something in your bed before sleeping
Finally i think that you can get some mild herbal something from a pharmacy which will help you relax.
Sleep tight!

I was at a convention (health and lifestyle) a fortnight ago and a new product was launched. It was a magnetic bracelet, the only one in the world with four highly specialised inserts:
- Unipolar Neodymium Magnets - which emit a stronger magnetic field than standard magnets
- Caramic inserts which produce far infrared rays of a frequency identical to the greatest output from the sun
- Negative Ions to recreate the peaceful energy found in the naturally relaxing environment of a waterfall or mountain retreat
- Germanium inserts having a unique response to infrared light.
Magnetic jewellery has been used throughout Asia for centuries.
These bracelets were given to ten sceptical volunteers and nine of them reported they had a better night's sleep.

Do not drink coffee or tea 8 hours before your sleeping time. Check your medicines, some make you alert. Before sleeping stay calm, avoid action movies. Take a book with you in bed, read it till you sleep. Do not take vitamins several hours before sleeping time.

You could try warm milk if you are not lactose intolerant.
