I'm just curious, I doubt I do get one. It's just it's been a year since I lost it now and it's bothering me a bit.

Prosthetic fingers do exist, I have already been "fitted" or "sized" for one.

For a finger, I think it's more of a cosmetic issue than a function issue. They do have some out there now that if you didn't know they were prosthetic look very real. If you have the money and it's something you want, go for it. If you don't think you would use it, then it won't really be worth it. But this is a decision only you can make for yourself. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

It may not function well and may be cumbersome and useless. If the issue involves vanity, then of course get the prosthetic, my guess is that you will tire of the prosthetic after spending money unnecessarily.

I've never seen a prosthetic finger in my life. If they exist and you can afford it, go for it.

THats really a vanity issue. If you are secure in who you are you wont need it. Your friends, if they are truly friends they will agree/ As you go thru day to day life people will see your pride and security and really feel pride for you too.
