i have this pain right by my neck, why?

when i woke up this morning i must have either slept wrong or to long, and i have the massive pain right below my neck on the left side, when i turn my head left it hurts, and right. when i stand up it hurts how do i get rid of this pain got to go away within 2 days as i start working again

stiff neck, just put hot compress (hot towel or pad that can be bought in cvs),take tylenol too to ease the pain

just put some icyhot on it and take tylonal and if you live with someone have them message it were it hurts.
