Headaches are often caused by mild dehydration. Try drinking a lot of water. Accupressure can also help. I've included a link in the source at the bottom. You can do much of accupressure by yourself. Check it out!

While not the fastest (or tastiest), the best way to sooth a headache is to increase blood flow. You take an alka seltzer tablet (which will open your arteries) and then take vitamin C, which will help ablate any cellular damage caused by oxygen deprivation in the areas affected by restricted blood flow.
