Have your finger evaulated first by your primary care provider. Without precise knowledge of the injury and the present condition of your finger through X-rays, there's no way to say if or how it can be corrected.

I think that it is arrogant to assume that the finger was fractured. It may well have been but a thickened tendon, a subluxation and muscle contracture will also prevent straightening. Be wary of people who seem so certain they know what's wrong without ever having met you.

You may have to ask your doctor to re-break it and set it properly. Which is the likely reason you can't straighten it now. It was probably broken initially and healed improperly.

It's probably out of joint. I did that too playing soft ball. You'l have to go to the Dr.
