I had an infected wound from a cyst removal. The doctor cauterized this area with silver nitrate and it left a 1/8" deep hole where he removed the infection. I do have an appointment in a month for him to look at the area to see how it is healing, but I was just wondering if anybody knew how long it would take for the 1/8" wound to close on its own? Thanks.

it depends where the cyst was. It will go away. the cysts have roots thats why they probably removed it and the roots of the cyst grow into the body like a tree in the ground, it will heal keep the area clean put nothing on it it will heal faster. but if need be i would only use betadine to keep dirt and germs out. ull be okay pumpkin, be patient
