Hi. I would like to know what questions are generally asked in the ER when one is sent to the hospital. Since my parents don't know much English, I would like to get them prepared for answering questions that might be possibly asked in the ER, just in case anything bad happens to my family. ok im only 14 and i cant run for a long time because i get KILLER back aches... my back is just seriously screwed up and i have no clue what it is. I went to the doctor earlier and he sent me to physical therapy, that DID NOT help. It just came bak... what should i do and what could this b?

About 3 months ago my 11 month old son dropped his bottle so I put him on the counter and bent over to pick it up needless to say he fell head first and my back broke his fall! I thought at first It was just a bruse or maybe a pulled muscle but it is still hurting . I went to the ER to day and the doc said it wasnt the bone itself but I need a MRI to see if its a ruptured disc or compressed! Now after he has poked on it it is killing me. What do you think it could be! Please help, Im in pain. Thank you

I finally worked up the nerve to have it done and now I wonder. Does it matter if I get it done in summer or winter? Just in regards to light adjustment. I should mention that in my neck of the woods we get about 7 hours of daylight in winter and about 21 hours of daylight in summer.

i have a fallen arch,and i have been working an eight hour shift for the last three months.My feet hurt so bad that i take pain relievers every 4 hours at work and when first get home.i even go to bathroom just sit down for 5 minutes.when iget i'm limping to car and when i get.my feet never stop hurting,the only time i dont feel the pain is when i'm sleeping.I'v also tried gel shoe pads,arch support shoe pads using two at once.

My lower back and buttock, and all the way down to my ankle are extreamly hurt. I went to a instacare today, and the doctor recommended iontophresis, and massage. What do you think about physical therapy? What other treetments can I do myself to save money? This is the worst pain I have ever had, it's terrible. Thanks for your response, Ryan

On New year's eve, I felt like a falling down drunk, without a drop of anything . I don't drink. Since then, I can't sleep on my right side, or on my back.When I look up, I get dizzy, it's not fun. I have vertigo meds(antivert), but it just knocks me out and can't function. I have two kids and I am a student again, about to graduate.HELP, I see a brain doc on Monday, but this is 4 days away.

I have had a CT scan-clear,x-ray-clear, kub-clear, urine-clear 4 times and an mri which showed a milid protrusion into the anterior thecal sacat the L5,S1 but that has been deemed normal for a 33 year old male. I have had pain before, but this is unique. It actually disappeared for 3-4 days last week then came back yesterday with a vengeance. It usually is worse in the morning when I first awake and is accompanied by stomach cramps (perhaps I sleep fetal style).Anyway I have seen an internal medicine, urologist,etc. they say its skelatal muscular. Is there ANYTHING those scans may have missed? I am I jusr paranoid and it is simply acute lower right back pain? Just need a 2nd,3rd,4th...opinion. Thanks...this has been ongoing for a month and after the prednisone and other pain meds gave me constipation I am wary of returning to drugs for help. My doc agrees.

ok, about a month ago i woke up in the middle of the night and got this really really really, like excrushiating pain in my calf! i ask my friend about it and she said it was a charlie horse? well anyways, happend again on monday, and again last night. this has been the worst one... i could barely walk this morning and all day have been struggling with the pain of walking, or moving, or stretching my legs. is there any reason for this? i was wondering if it is some sort of vitamin deficience or somthing... this has never happend to be before, and its like extreamly painful! please help!

I have hypothyroidism, and sometimes I have a lump on my throat. Over the past two days, a large, hard lump has appeared on the underside of my chin. It is very sore; it feels like a bruise. It has gotten bigger and more painful. I know I need to see a doctor, but I am snowed in and I can't go anywhere! Any suggestions on what it could be? Should i brave the weather and go to the Doc?

He has never had headaches before and he all the sudden started getting them. He has had one that he said almost made him pass out and he got a bloody nose. He won't go to the doctor and I am hoping that someone might be able to tell me what might be causing this so if not anything else I might be able to scare him into going to the doctor because I'm worried it's more than just a headache. I've had a common cold for the last two weeks.. last saturday 1/13/2007 I woke up and my ribs on my right hurt.. It hurts when I cough, laugh. When i go to sleep at night next to my boyfriend , i always cuddle up to him, but he has been pushing me away and saying i absorb or Zap his energy. Apparently it gets so intence for him that it wakes him up and he can feel his energy going from him into my hands and through my body. I like to think im only taking his bad energy away but he thinks im taking his good energy sometimes. Would anyone be able to help me with understanding why this happens and what it means?
