About 3 months ago my 11 month old son dropped his bottle so I put him on the counter and bent over to pick it up needless to say he fell head first and my back broke his fall! I thought at first It was just a bruse or maybe a pulled muscle but it is still hurting . I went to the ER to day and the doc said it wasnt the bone itself but I need a MRI to see if its a ruptured disc or compressed! Now after he has poked on it it is killing me. What do you think it could be! Please help, Im in pain. Thank you

in between the bone of your spine (the vertebrae) you have fibrocartilagenous discs. Inside these discs there is a gel-like material. Sometimes do to trauma these discs get compresses and the gel gets pushed out. This causes compression on the spinal cord which leads to pain.
