I think that fruits have less toxic compare to meat and seafood, also there is Vitamin A,E and Fiber as well.

But i wonder that how much fruits consumption would then be enough for a meal?

I had a slice of papaya, 6 pieces of water chest nuts, a slice of honey dew and 2 glass of orange juice just now as my dinner, I wonder if that is a good start hehz.

I'm thinking of combo with banana and apple as my meals as well, but will I be alright by eating less meat now? I'm not vegetarian.

Hiya everyone, I just have a little question about body fat etc. I've not had a chance to have my body fat calculated but from a hunch I would generalize that i'm not in a fantastic position regarding it.

I've just turned 20, Male, I'm 5'10" and only 9.5 stone (133 pounds). However I feel quite flabby around the waist which doesn't seem like such a huge problem when i'm standing up, my navel just seems to be pretty average, not flat, but not fat either. However when I sit down, It's like i'm just as overweight as somebody almost obese.

Hope i've made my dilemma as clear as possible and what would you suggest? People always comment me as being thin but from what I read, you can look slim to people but have a high body fat percentage.

If I loose body fat won't that affect my overall weight? Which is already on the underweight scale for somebody of my height.

im starting a diet with my sister and we're counting our calories from fat only. were excierciseing off all the calories from fat that were eating and then some. but should it be all calories, or just calories from fat? i really have no idea. please help...

I will eat plenty of fruits and veggies and have a regular diet...so I think the only thing I will be losing by only drinking water is the excess sugar other things they put into drinks and hopefully a few pounds...

Do you think this is a good idea to only drink water...no soda, fruit juice, sports drinks, slushies..?

So, I just started the Biggest Loser Workout yesterday. Today I did 20 minutes of high intensity workout + body sculpting (weights) + boot camp. Will I burn fat (15lbs) if I do this and eat healthy every day? Or should I just forget about this workout and go to the gym and run instead?

Hey, so I am a 21 year old male who feels fairly normal. I'm not particularly healthy, but I'm not unhealthy. I'm an average height and weight. My diet is an average diet for a 21 year old. I guess that the only things out of the ordinary for me is that I suffer from a little exma on my hands every now and then and I guess I get the common cold a little more then most people. I have heard many people suggest that it's a good idea to take some natural tablets daily, such as multi-vitamin tablets, fish oil tablets, calcium talbets, etc, etc. I would like to be healthier then I am, are there any suggestions to tablets and how many of them that I should take daily to make me to be healthier then I am? Is it unealthy to take more then 3 or 4 different kinds of natural tablets daily?

i know that when your hands are touching each other, you are working your triceps, and when your hand and further than shoulder length, you are working your pecs. so if you have your hands and shoulder length, you are working your pecs and triceps about equally at the same time right?

but my question is, is it better to do around 30 push-ups shoulder length, or do like 10 shoulder length, 10 with hands touching, and 10 with hands further than shoulder length?

and also, what percent of your bodyweight are you lifting when doing a push up? i weigh around 150 and im 5'8" so how much do i lift when doing a pushup. and is it about equal to doing a benchpress? is there some kind of equation to calculating this?

Well I'm 18 years old & every since I was a kid, my dad always complained about me eating food that he bought, for example, if he buys some bread or cereal, if he sees me eating one bowl of cereal or using the bread to eat a sandwhich, he will complain that I'm finishing all the food in the house & now that I have a job, he forces me to buy some of the food that I eat. He does this to my two younger sisters also & they are only 14 & 8 years old & he does it to the point that they are afraid to eat.

im a cheerleader, so of course i know HOW to do the splits...i just dont know how to get them down. i ask my coaches && team mates but they just say to stretch. i know how to stretch where you do them or only do them with oyur back leg out but is there any other way?
~please please help me, all i want is to get them, more than anything else in the world!

I'm a 5'9" 15 year old male. Recently I've decided to lose some weight and gain muscle mass, my ultimate goal, obtaining a six pack. I wasn't expecting to see results until at least a month but it's only been a week and a half into it and already I've went from 165 pounds to 153. I'm happy with the results but I'm not sure if this is healthy. The only changes I made to my diet are cutting out soda and fried foods and lowering the fatty foods as well as deserts. I also have a healthy snack whenever I feel hungry and have started to make time for breakfast in the morning. In the mornings, afternoons and right before I go to bed, I do a 20-30 minute workouts which include sit-ups, pushups, and exercises with 10 pound dumbbells. Although I feel great, I'm not sure if losing weight this fast is very healthy. My triceps look bigger than ever before, and I can finally do more than one pull-up for the first time in my life, but is it possible I'm also losing muscle mass?
