Okay so my whole family is wondering, how in the world did those people on Biggest Loser, lose about 10 a week. Yeah so how did they do that, and I always hear people say 2 pounds a week is healthy, so was doing that a good idea for them?

I drink a lot of water... like 170 oz. throughout the day... I'm wondering if there's any downsides to this. I don't force it... I really love drinking water (I drink nothing besides it) Also, now that I'm breastfeeding ... i get even more thirsty.
Any downsides? And can drinking too much water make you RETAIN it??? Thanks

Today I ate almost 1400 calories!!!! This isnt alot but i didnt run like I usually do.... I only went on a 1.5 mile walk..
Im 16, 5'4'' and 94 lbs...... will I gain any weight from this??
btw.... I know Im not very fat, im recovering from anorexia

I am a 25 year old guy, into bodybuilding but would like to switch to a vegetarian diet without affecting my build nor my ability to enjoy sporty activities and going to the gym to workout.
I have been a meat eater all my life, and have decided to switch to a vegetarian diet.
Where can I find information on such diet, advice, recommendation, etc..?

I have to date lost 60lbs and couldn't be happier...I eat healthy and work out everyday...even today! *L*..Cardio and weights are a daily routine for me.... I drink water like it's running low...and I've finally just gotten tired of it...what on earth can I drink that is atleast somewhat as good for me as water?? today i drank decaffinated tea...with no sugar.. which in my opinion is nothing but brown water...and the green tea i DO find has aspartame in it..so...what can i do??

i sort of have this plan:

BREAKFEST: weight control oatmeal.

LUNCH: an apple and a sandwhich.
sandwhich is a tuna sandwhich kinda, idk what to call it except instead of tuna its chicken breast with miracle whip mayo and 2 cucumber slices.also glass of water.


dinner: salad with tomatoes && cucumber with LIGHT ranch, with glass of water

excercise: tae bo and 130 situps.

if i have time i will run AND walk 1-2 miles.

if i do that for 4 weeks, will i lose 8 pounds?

im 8 stone atm...used to be 7 stone bt av put it all bak on by binge eating...im plannin to not eat for 2 weeks apart thu occasily slim fast shake...n thn jst eat really healthy and exercise how long u fink it will take to loose thu 2 stone? help plz as am gettin really depressed about my weight

I would like to lose at least 2 stone by May. I think thats attainable isn't it? I work full time and go to college full time, so the only times i can go to the gym are weekends, mondays and fridays.

Should i give weight watchers a go or slimmers world, or do you have any other suggestions? I don't want to do anything faddy.

I always do quite well for a while then give up after about a stone, what tips can you give me to stick to it?

I thought maybe write in a journal, then i can track how i feel as lose weight. I hope i do it this time, i have gone back to college as a 23 year old and for the first time am succeeding at it, getting straight A's, whereas at school i got C's and D's, so i guess i am kind of hoping that now one aspect of my life is going well, other aspects will follow!

Hey, im 16 years old and im on the wrestling team. I need a recommended working out schedule to get really big and buff. I need the fastest way without taking pills or creatine. i had really bad anorxia last year and now i have put on more weight then the doctors have said and i feel HUGE!!! i am 159cm tall and i weigh 50.5kgs.
i have a boyfriend who is hot as!! and is solid and has the best body so i feel like a fat heffa!
how can i make myself feel better??
i want to become REALLY skinny again because no-one can like me while looking like this!!! i am so upset! :-(

I eat 2 meals (lunch and dinner) a day and I have lots of snacks. (I'm working on getting up earlier so I can eat breakfast, so don't tell me I need to eat breakfast) and usually 1 or both of those meals is a salad, because I don't eat most kinds of meat. People tell me I need more protein, but I thought salads were healthy for you. I"m at an OK weight and stuff, so I don't see why this is bad.

P.S. I'm 12 year old girl

I am five foot two and weigh 148 lbs. My waist is a 29.5 and hips are a 43. All the BMI calculaters and waist to hip ratios say i am healthy, but my recruiter says I am too fat to even take the arms test even though I can pass it. My BMI is a 27.1 according to online and hand done calculations and my waist to hip ratio is .67. My recruiter says my BMI is a 38. Is this possible? what can I do because I really want to join the military and this is the only thing stopping me.

i'm 5'2" and 115 lbs. i've recently gained about 15 lbs and i think i would look and feel better if i weighed about 100 or 105. i have a really small frame and i don't carry extra weight very well.

i've been jogging a few times a week and eating healthy. i'm eating less calories and everything, but i'm not losing any weight! i've been dieting for over a month and i still haven't lost any weight. and i just want to lose 10 lbs anyway, how hard could it be? anyone have any suggestions of how i could lose the weight? like any foods that speed metabolism or exercises that burn a lot of calories?
