Had trauma about 10 years ago where half my tooth was cracked. Could not find it, was replaced with artificial material. Shortly after, I had a root canal. Every now and then there is an underlying infection in the tooth where I must take oral antibiotics.

Also, is it absolutly needed to remove them? Can some people just leave them in?

Ok I think I have an abcess tooth, it has been hurting for a week now, and my gums have a pocket above my tooth. I have doing research on the internet, about peridontal diease, and everything I have read talks about tooth decay, cavities, etc. Is it possible that I have a abcess tooth, I don't have tooth decay or any cavities? If not a abcess tooth what could it be. It is very painful and swollen, with sensitivity spreading throughout the sourrounding teeth. I have never had any teeth problems or even a toothache, and I am 21. What do you think?

I got my ACT scores back and I did fairly well, but not in the science section.
My scores were as follows: Science: 22, Math: 26, English: 33, Reading: 33, Composite: 29.
I am going to a good college and I was planning on majoring in a science and then going to dentistry school. Is my score in the science section indicative of my ability to do well in college science courses or on the dental admission test (DAT)?

My dentist recently injected me with the wrong type of anaesthetic, also injected it straight into a nerve and pulled one of my teeth out while I could still feel the pain. He ignored my shouts of pain and I went to my doctor afterwards and he told me I had extremely high blood pressure which I never had before. How can I sue my dentist and how do I start the process?

It's bleeding quite alot . and it doesn't seem to stop. if i let it go, my whole tooth on the bottom gets red and then the blood also dries but more comes out.

I looked at my gum when i managed to dry it and it seems he over did it and cut some gum( just on the end where the tooth begins but still it's pretty mangled in that little point). cause i see it and its like hairs like if it was sliced accidentally. it will get better, but i don't know when. and i don't know what to do

why doesn't the blood stop. Well does the gum heal?

I would call him but it's Thanksgiving 4 day weekend, so i guess there is no way of doing that.
