I wouldn't recommend that, the wrapper probably doesn't go thru as much as a sterilization process as the gum.

Sorry, however the paper merely disolves in case you chew it and that i'd guess it would not help your tooth. I guess it tastes exceptionally darn gross, too. i choose to propose you basically save on with chewing the gum.
