not a good idea to introduce non sterile objects into your mouth. u r just asking for an infection. it would b very painful without local anesthetic and the possibility for the tooth breaking is high. dentists use tools to loosen and elevate the tooth before reaching for the forceps.

That depends on if the tooth is loose or not, how much pain can you tolerate. Removing a tooth with a pair of pliers can be dangerous if not pulled right. I would see a dentist if possible. The pain is on a scale of 1-10 about a 50 on the worst case. I have also pulled my own that was a 1. So there you have it, the amont of pain high or low, wont be felt until its pulled. Its eather you do it or you dont. But you cant try, or the pain is too much. Take tooth ake stuff first.

Well, never having had them taken out quite that way, but still thinking that if I had my gums would be ripped if not mutilated. That is not a good thing, so you really shouldn't take yours or anyone else's out that way, if you are planning to do so. I once had one pulled with a string, the first one but the second teeth grow much stronger roots and some grow into the jaw bone so that fragments are floating around in your gums when they are pulled, and that;s by an expert, only damage can come from some lay person extracting a tooth. and it probably will hurt in more ways than just the initial yanking out of pliers, for most people. what happens if you break the tooth off at the root. Because even a Dentist can do this. Only difference is that he has the education and tools to remove it. What about the instruments what if you get a infection because your pliers are only boiled or alcoholed off because I'm sure you don't have the autoclave sterilization need to sterilize for a surgery. Because that is what extracting a tooth needs. So buddy just break down and have a Dentist do it right so you can avoid all the complication that doing it yourself can cause. And probably costing more money.

It feels numb with the sensation of a distant pain like something somewhere is being pulled up from its roots. Of course, that's under anaesthesia :)
Don't try it otherwise.

Operative word ~ HURT
Does it really matter if it hurts 'worse' or 'less'?
Kinda like asking how bad it 'hurts' if you're shot with a .38...
The correct answer is YES.
