The surface of my tongue has been tender for over a month now. What is the deal? I used to always brush my tongue when I brushed my teeth (did it for years) but now it's too tender to do that. When I run my teeth across my teeth, ouch! What in the world could cause this, and make it last this long?

Getting 4 pre molers removed for my braces and wanted to know if the removal of those 4 teeth would change my face structure.

Some people say that your cheeks save in, but I am not sure.

Sometimes when I chew I hear a crinkling noise in my ear - like it sounds like someone is crumbling tin foil or soemthing like that. It is only in one ear. By the way it doesnt hurt. One last thing, every once in a while I hear a high pitched ring in my ear - like someone hit one of the tuning forks. also doesnt hurt, but thought Id mention it

all swollen. The instructions say not to use ice on her cheeks after 24 hrs and she is on medicine that is supposed to help with the swelling. Do you have any advice on helping the swelling and the foods that might appeal to her and be nutritious? She said anything salty is out of the question. I have been making her drink alot of juice but she has only eaten a little bit of yogurt and applesauce. Thank You

For the past few weeks, my teeth have almost killed me every time I've drunken something cooler than body temperature, and everytime I've eaten something sweet, e.g. chocolate. It only seems to be affecting the middle molars - on either side.

I've never had any dental problems before, and have never even needed a filling.

My family and I are on a pretty tight budget at the moment, and really cant afford to go to the dentist for a check-up - as dentitsts are rather expensive here in Australia, and not covered by Medicare.

If you have any suggestions on what may be causing the problem and/or how to fix it, please let me know... Thanks.

Real or fake tree, which one will you be putting up this year, and why?

Me, I'm going with the real thing, I like the smell, and the fun of picking it out, negatives are the expense, and the pain of putting it up.

hi. i have 3 small, white bumps on the side of my tongue near the back. they kinda hurt. i noticed my tongue had a strange feeling while i was drinking a beer a few days ago, and i was wondering if it is possible that the beer caused the white bumps. if not, what else could it be? it is not oral thrush i just looked up pictures.
